Stephanie Tencer
Stephanie came to Iyengar yoga after years of debilitating back pain. While her healed back has become a testament to the power of the practice, she is also deeply moved by the playfulness and self-discovery inherent to Iyengar Yoga, and regularly weaves these themes into her teaching. Stephanie is the director of Studio Po and holds a Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teaching certificate. She continues to study regularly with Senior Iyengar Yoga Teachers worldwide.

Is this membership for beginners?
There are many classes in the membership that are appropriate for all levels but if you are looking for a course specifically designed for beginners, please consider my online course, Iyengar Yoga Fundamentals

Who is this membership for?
The on-demand membership is perfect for students who don't have easy access to in-person classes and also for students who wish to supplement their studio classes with at-home practice.
The membership includes general classes for all levels as well as classes for more experienced practitioners.
What props will I need?
Dedicated yoga props are handy and can make your yoga experience more enjoyable, but they are not required. It is possible to improvise using common household items instead of classic yoga props.
That said, a fully stocked prop kit will include 1 yoga mat, 2 yoga bricks, 1 yoga strap, 4 yoga blankets, 1 bolster, and if you are really keen, you might also want 1 yoga chair and 2 shoulderstand boards. Download my free guide to Iyengar Yoga props.
