Iyengar Yoga with a chair is a fantastic way to delve DEEPLY into your standing poses! Chair yoga can provide tremendous feedback about your standing poses while also making longer durations in the asanas more accessible. In this practice, we explore Virabhadrasana II and Utthita Parsvakonasana using the chair as a key Iyengar Yoga prop. It's a great practice for students new to Iyengar Yoga but please don't mistake that for meaning that it is an 'easy' practice. Beginner students and experienced practitioners alike will benefit immensely from this short home practice.
