Learn to Handstand with Strength & Confidence

Because hand standing is both exhilarating and challenging, Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Full Arm Balance) is often a very alluring yoga pose.

Today's Iyengar Yoga sequence is designed for students who aren't yet able to do a yoga handstand but who want to know *what to practice* to help them along their hand standing journey.

If you are new to hand standing, developing strength and confidence is key. It's also important to remember that learning to handstand is a gradual process. There really isn't one instruction or alignment cue that will propel you into an inversion.

Sooooo, my best advice: stay focused, be patient, practice, and have FUN!
